It’s been a while since we last updated you on what we’ve been up to here at the Gigsby HQ. We are nerding out in code big time, all engines running full steam and making great progress on the development of Gigsby user, venue and gig profiles. As a special treat, we’re giving you all a sneak peek of what the user profile looks like (see picture below). Take a look and let us know how you like it.

After the profiles are done we’ll tackle the Gig collaboration tools and the slick Gigsby Business Intelligence algorithm we’ve been boasting about, which you can see a preview of here on our GigLog. With that done we’ll be well on our way to launching the Gigsby Beta at the Winter Music Conference 2010 (w00t!). If any of you are planning on attending we’d love to meet you in person. Other than that, our humble Gigsby community, which you’re a member of as a reader of the GigLog, continues to grow as more people sign on for the Beta. From our chats with industry folks we’re seeing no shortage of interest in what we’re trying to accomplish with Gigsby.
Lastly, we’ve recently added a couple guest GigLoggers (you saw Dexter Bryant Jr.’s post last week) who will be gracing us with great posts and insights moving forward.
